Scholarships are just one way to earn money towards paying for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Here is a list of a few scholarships that we recommend and encourage you apply for.

A $750 scholarship is available through ASI for students studying abroad through this program. The deadline to apply is 3/11/19 and results are announced in mid-April. In previous years, approximately 50-66% of students that applied received the scholarship. Details can be found here.

Students that are receiving a Pell Grant should also consider applying for the Gilman Scholarship offered through the US Department of State. The application deadline is 3/5/19. Details can be found here.

Additionally, Pell Grant Recipients should make an appointment with scholarship advisor, Linda Olson Levy in the Study Abroad Office to improve your application.
